Children & Youth
Young people are important to our church community as they are our future servant-leaders. Here at St. Michael’s, we devote a significant amount of time and resources ministering to them — giving them guidance to know, love, and serve Jesus, and ultimately becoming the missionary disciples every Christian is called to be.
Welcome to Kids’ Kingdom!
We’re delighted to invite your family to Mass Preparation & Children’s Liturgy of the Word, offered most Sundays at Saint Michael Catholic Community.
Session A: 8:30 AM | Session B: 10:30 AM
Doors open five minutes before each session for check-in, attendance, and ID badge pickup to ensure safety and security for all children/ volunteers.
Our sessions are designed especially for children in Kindergarten through Grade 3 and flows with the beauty and rhythm of the Roman Catholic Liturgical Calendar. Each gathering includes sacred music, creative activity, moments of “wonder and awe,” and faith-filled reflections to help our youngest parishioners encounter Our Father in the celebration of the Mass. Children participate before and during the Liturgy of the Word portion of Mass.

Program Details
- Start Date: Sunday, September 14, 2025 (Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross)
- End Date: Sunday, June 1, 2026 (Feast of Corpus Christi)
- Who: Children currently in Kindergarten to Grade 3 (as of September 2025–June 2026)
- Location: Guardian Angels Room & Main Sanctuary
- Session Times: 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM (doors open 5 minutes before each)
- Duration: Approximately 45 minutes

Vacation Bible Camp 2026: “Rainforest Falls – Exploring the Nature of God”

Moms and Tots
Our weekly Moms and Tots group is a ministry for moms with small children. We meet every Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m., and we invite all moms with little ones to come and join us for coffee, faith, fellowship, and fun activities for the kids!
Why Join
We believe that faith and fun can, of course, go together. By joining any of our youth ministries, children are able to hear and apply the life-changing message of the Gospel of our Lord in a level that they could understand and relate to. Plus – whether they are in Kids’ Kingdom, Roots, or Calling Youth – they are sure to meet new friends with whom they can grow together in their faith journey.
